In this guide, you’ll learn how to set up the SMS Contact List Builder.

Choose Your Template

Log in to your account and find the “SMS Contact List Builder” in the menu. We’ve pre-loaded it with a handful of clean, effective templates to get you started instantly. You’ll need to be on the “new interface” to use this tool which you can toggle on at the top-right hand corner of the dashboard.

1  = We have some basic templates that you can use to get started

2 = This is where you edit your SMS lead capture form

3 = Once you’re happy with the design click “save”

4 = “Scheduled SMS” takes you to the automated SMS screen which we’ll get to in a moment

5 = This is the code you need to add to your website (this will only appear once you’ve saved your form).

Copy & Paste

Once you’ve saved your lead capture form, the tool will generate some web code for you to paste onto your website. Once this has been added to your site, you’ll see the form appear. This will need to be added between the <body> tags.

Schedule SMS

Once a person has subscribed you can send that recipient an instant SMS confirmation, coupon code, url, etc.

To set this up, click on the “Schedule SMS” button.

1 = Click the edit button to edit the automated message

2 = Add your welcome message, coupon code, etc.

3 = Select “Enable” from the dropdown options

4 = Select when you want your new subscriber to receive the automated message

5 = Once you’re happy, save the changes

Where are the new subscribers added?

Go back to the main dashboard and select Management/Export and you’ll see a group called “Autocreated Widget Group” – this is where new subscribers will be added.

You can rename this group if you like by clicking the “edit” icon to the left of the group name and any new subscribers will be added to the newly renamed group.

QR Code

When you log in to the SMs Contact List Builder on the bottom right-hand side, you’ll see a QR code.

This is yet another way for people to opt-in to your list, the only difference being is that you can add this to both online and offline properties for example, a pizza shop could add this code to their pizza boxes, or a restaurant could add one to the table menu holder or promotional stand.

How it works

A person will scan the QR code and they will see an option to opt-in to the service

How it works

Once a person scans the QR code they will see a message giving them an option to join your SMS list, they will need to tap on the “SMS” option, when they do that it loads up their SMS messenger including the special code and all they need to do then is tap “Send” and they’ve now subscribed to your list.
